Roshan’s Lucky Draw Winner Drives Home a Brand New Car

(Sept 16, 2018) – Kabul, Afghanistan: Roshan, Afghanistan’s leading telecommuninications service provider, celebrated in July its 15th year of operations in Afghanistan.  As part of a year of celebrations, Roshan launched the exciting lucky draw campaign to appreciate the loyalty of its customers. And today, Roshan announced the winner of its first grand prize, a new Toyota Corolla. 

The lucky winner, Nabila daughter of Mohammadi Nabi, comes from Badakhshan province. She was the winner among over 530,000 Roshan customers who were eligible for the lucky draw. “I got three calls from Roshan’s customer service number. I missed the first two but I picked up the third call. I could not believe when a Roshan representative told me I am the lucky winner of the car,” said Nabila. “I started using Roshan’s services about a year ago  and I am so glad to be a customer.”

“We marked Roshan’s 15th anniversary by launching this major lucky draw campaign,” said Shireen Rahmani, Roshan’s COO. “15 years is a major milestone for Roshan and in that time we have seen so much progress in Afghanistan and the impact that Roshan is having on the country.  We wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate and to show our commitment to our customers and to say thank you for their loyalty to Roshan.  This is a year of celebration for us and our customers.”

Roshan launched the lucky draw campaign on June 1st  and it runs through the end of September of this year.  All Roshan’s customers who use 100 Afs weekly or 400 Afs monthly are automatically enrolled in the lucky draw scheme. So far, Roshan has given weekly and monthly prizes, including smart phones, free minutes and internet, tickets to the Asia Cricket Cup and  trips to perform the Haj piligrimage.  The grand prize is two Toyota Corolla cars.

There will be a final draw on September 30th for the second grand prize: a brand new Corolla Toyota 2017. All Roshan customers who are eligible will still have a chance to win.
