How do I register or de-register for CRBT?
For subscribing or unsubscribing to CRBT service, customers need to follow the below channels:

    • Press 1 for Dari.
    • Press 2 for Pashto.
    • Press 3 for English.
  • Press 1 for registration.
DE-REGISTRATION / DEACTIVATION:

  • Press 3 for main menu.
  • Press 8 for help.
  • Press 1 to de-register for CRBT service.

Subscription for CRBT is free. After subscription the customer will receive a PIN number which will allow successful activation, deactivation and download on the web.

How much am I charged to use this service?

Subscription fee for CRBT is 35 AFA and the download fee is

15 AFA per song, regardless of the channel used for download.

In addition to the download fee, the following charges also apply:
  • IVR: 5 AFA per 10 minutes.
  • SMS: 2.5 AFA per message.
  • USSD: 2.5 AFA per request.
  • Web Portal: no additional charge.

HOW DO I COPY SONGS?
Subscriber can press the * key while listening to another subscriber’s ring back tone to copy it in order to set to his or her Ring Back Tone.
  • Copying the RBT of a subscriber costs 15 AFA.
  • Copying the RBT of non-subscriber costs 15 AFA for tune download.
How do I set a tune to a specific caller?
Customers can select one or more tunes from his or her Tune List and can assign selected tunes to a specific caller of their own choice. The tune will only play for that specific caller.

HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA IVR:
  • Call 505.
  • Press 3 for main menu.
  • Press 1 for special feature.
  • Press 1 for my profile.
  • Press 1 to continue then 3 to set a tune to a specific caller.
HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA SMS:
  • Compose message.
  • Type: <Set caller> 'space' <tune id>'space'<MSISDN>.
  • Send it to 505.
How do I set a tune to a specific caller group?
Customers can select one or more tunes from their Tune List  and can assign selected tunes to a particular group. Customers can create a maximum of 9 groups and can add 20 MSISDNs in each group. Tunes will play only for those specific callers.

  • Call 505.
  • Press 3 for main menu.
  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 1 for my profile.
  • Press 1 to continue then 4 for specific caller group.
HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA SMS:

How do I set a tune to a specific time frame?
Customers can select this option in order to have tunes play sequentially from his or her Tune List.
Customers can also set a tune to a specific timeframe:
  1. All day.
  2. For a period every day.
  3. For a special period.
  4. For a period of every week.
  5. For a period of every month.
  6. For a period of every year.

How do I delete a specific group?
A customer can delete one or more groups who have already been added.

HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA IVR:

  • Press 3 for main menu.
  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 1 for my profile.
  • Press 1 to continue then 6 to delete a specific group.
HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA SMS:
  • Compose message.
  • Type <delspg>'space'<group no>'space'<tune id>.
  • Send it to 505.
How do I send a tune as a gift?
Customers can send an RBT to their friends and family as a gift. The sender will be charged the relevant tune fee for this service for the first month. The receiver has the option either to accept or reject the tune.
  • Sending RBT as a gift to a Roshan CRBT subscriber costs 15 AFA.
  • Sending RBT as a gift to a non-subscriber of CRBT costs 15 AFA.

  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 2 to gift a tune.
HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA SMS:
  • Compose message.

How do I record my own RBT?
Customers can record his or her own voice or music and set that as their Ring Back Tone. The recorded tune will be sent to a Roshan administrator for approval. If it is approved by the administrator, callers will hear the recorded voice or music when they call.

  • Call 505.
  • Press 3 for main menu.
  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 3 for DIY Recorded CRBT.
  • Approved DIY Recorded CRBT costs 15 AFA.
How do I set a busy tune?
A customer can activate a busy tune when they are unable to answer a call. Once the busy tune has been activated, it will replace their tune and after the busy tune expires their normal tune will continue. A customer can set the busy tune for a period of the day and for a number of days.

  • Press for 3 main menu.
  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 4 for busy tune.
HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA SMS:
  • Compose message.
  • Type <bt>'space'<tune id>'space' <no of hours/days>.
  • Send it to 505.
How do I activate a tune pack?
Customers can download their top 5 favorite tunes only for 50 AFA including a 22% discount offer.
Customers can select the tune pack of their choice from their favorite category, e.g: Dari, Pashto and English.

HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA IVR:
  • Call 505.
  • Press 3 for main menu, press 1 for special features, than press 5 for tune pack.
HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA SMS:
  • Compose message <downloadbox ‘space’<tunepack number> and send it to 505
How do I activate reverse CRBT?
A customer can activate reverse RBT in order to hear his or her favorite song instead of a normal ring tone when calling others.

HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA IVR:
  • Call 505.
  • Press 3 for main menu
  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 6 for Reverse CRBT.
How to block someone to should not listen to your CRBT (block CRBT)?
A customer can block Ring Back Tones for a maximum of 5 callers if they prefer not to hear particular songs.

  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 7 for block CRBT.

How do I create an album?
A customer can create up to 9 albums with their favorite songs. Each album can have a maximum of 10 songs.

  • Press 8 for album.
How do I find a tune by Id?
Customers download tunes by entering valid tune IDs.

HOW TO ACTIVATE VIA IVR:

  • Press 1 for special features.
  • Press 9 for other features.
  • Press 1 for tune by ID.
How do I send an RBT as a group gift?
Customers can send a specific tune to a maximum of 5 numbers as a gift. The receiver should be a Roshan subscriber and he/she has the option either to accept or reject the gift. Once he/she accepted the gifted tune will be set as his or her default tune.

How can I receive additional help?
From the help menu, customers can deactivate the subscription temporarily and/ or permanently and know the expiry date of his/her subscription.
